I would say it's fairly unlikely that the election will be delayed. But I will predict that the more Trump feels that he's going to lose the more he will try to delay it.

If I could bet on Trump either trying to delay the election or flat-out refusing the results, I would bet on that in a heartbeat. We're more than 3 months out and Trump is already planting seeds in his followers heads.


Prediction: The closer we get to election time the more Trump will be talking about mass voter fraud and trying to delay the election. If/when he loses... he will refuse to accept the results... and so will his followers. This November is going to be the ugliest election this country has ever seen by a mile. And to top it off... we're in the middle of a pandemic that will almost certainly be worse than it is now come election time. This is going to be ugly... really ugly.

In order for an election delay the house would have to agree on it, I don’t see that happening with pelvis in charge and Democrats leading in the polls.
