Isn’t this why teams have these taxi squads or whatever ready and waiting? Pretty sure I saw a list of like 60 guys cards have at their disposal if something like this happened. I would think they will have available bodies and these postponements are to simply make sure they got all the infected out before they resume.

Yeah, good point, Banker. We haven't heard any mention of the taxi squad or whatever. Maybe MLB thinks it's a bad look (again, a little archeic, gladiator-style) to say Okay, wheel off your wounded and bring in the fresth meat!

And I'm not aware of ANY pro athlete deaths related to this. So you really can't speculate

I fail to see how "very much higher" it could be when so little data is available this early
in the epidemic.

But everybody seems to be engaged in some kind of Paranoia Olympics over this, rather
than just isolating/treating those with symptoms and practicing preventive measures.

How do you do a bubble with 3000 people? But it would be awesome. Instead of having most of the games on Sunday, because of limited fields you would probably have 4 games a day on the weekends and 2 games a night on weekdays. It would be a gamblers dream.
