I think we need the national anthem more. With smart phones there is no excuse not to include more patriotism and remembrance of the freedoms we enjoy in this great nation. Before I go in gym I listen to while standing in parking lot, I play it when I get in car to drive anywhere, I play it every morning before I start working, before zoom meetings I've been trying to get everyone to recite the pledge of allegiance with me, but most people are unamerican and unwilling ( granted I interact with a lot of foreigners, but America invented the internet, soooo)

The thought of the national anthem not being played before something as important as a baseball game is mind boggling to me.

Maybe we could start a national anthem observance thread here, sticky it and every day we click on it, listen to it before we post and then make a patriotic post in the thread before moving onto other things.

I had cancelled the sports package awhile back when I saw what was going to happen with the NFL and NBA. I didn't mention it because it didn't pertain to the baseball on ESPN I was referring to in this thread. I was going to see what happened on ESPN for last night's games and then turned it off and streamed.
