I’ve been watching ton of soccer just cause it so new and exciting to me but for most part I watch very little of my baseball bets even tho I love the sport (cardinals are on my tv or radio 80% the time, not usually paying much attention tho). Once I have seen enough soccer to learn teams styles and players while figuring out what kind of stats do best job of telling the story I won’t watch nearly as much. The action for me is capping the games! Not sweating out every minute of the games!

Cool. I was only 4 during ‘82 season, I do have pretty good memory of watching ‘85 and ‘87 certainly didn’t go tho.

I went to gm 5 (close out game) when we won it in ‘06. Went to the ‘04 nlcs gm 7 but we were already down 2-0 to Red Sox in WS that year and I wasn’t bout to pay the asking price to watch us get whipped (as we did, Sox sept us). I regret not going to any the ‘11 ws vs rangers, what a incredible series! I’ll always remember where I was watching gm 6 tho! (Downtown bar on Landing), good times!! It bout time we got to another, my current old lady has only been to playoff games with me, no ws since we been together!
