I think the argument can be made winning this year might be the toughest of all time. Of course there also be more luck involved since staying healthy and not sick will be half the battle.

I never pay any attention to the times we have heard for various reasons the “Asterisk” season, not much different than when 10 years later they try and tell us a ncaa team we watched win it all didn’t win it!

That's what I've been saying. Timing is good for those testing positive now. It's often portrayed as this awful event because a player, tested whether sick or not, is positive.

But it's not all bad.

From what I can tell, Westbrook had symptoms but wasn't bad.

There was some concern about the effects on the heart and that it's not good for that condition to stress the heart like an NBA player would. NBA doctors were worried but I don't know of any NBA player that's even had to go to the hospital for the virus. I think the concern is larger for those that get more sick initially, requiring hospitalization.

Some of those unkowns are a little scary.

I think the main reason they playing (other than obviously money) is the fact bron wanted to play so everyone got on board (most everyone). They say bron in great shape, been working out like a monster. Wonder how pissed off he was when Bradly bitched out? We have seen bron many times take a band of scrubs far but when they run up against a deep talented team like the clippers fall short..

Yeah, you’re really taking a chance if you infect yourself on purpose. You could recover with no symptoms or be put on a ventilator for weeks. So many scary stories, I wouldn’t want to take the chance. The first NBA player (Gobert) to get Covid said he still can’t taste and smell right. Damn!
