They'll play. Their programs can't afford not to. Next step would be to postpone it until spring which gives them the rest of the year, and the potential to have more fans at games.

Damn. Think people. The NCAA is going to drag this out as long as possible. If teams go to a 10 week conference only schedule, the teams will have 15 weeks to play those 10 games. That is plenty of time to cancel games and reschedule them on a later date. It will make no difference, but before you know-nothings like Brock Carolina Kid, JJ, and others in here go off and claim to know something that the rest of us do not know, that is the thinking of the NCAA. You heard it here first.

Spring football is doubtful if the NFL does not cooperate and move their draft back. The players will not risk losing huge dollars just to play in whatever kind of season they may throw together. I think that college football is not going to start until the first week of September 2021.

They are not going to have a draft if they don't have a college season. Each team will be allowed to sign whoever they want as free agents. You will have basically just juniors who didn't play a senior season unless they give them another year of eligibility.

i was hoping for a spring season but i am beginning to think you are right - everything moves to next year, specifically normal start in late aug or early sept 2021
