No, this will not mean more advertising dollars for Petty. His team still will put a 2nd rate car on the track every week. Since Richard Petty has been an owner his cars have sucked. He has lousy equipment, not that he doesn't have the money, he won't spend money on quality parts like other owners. He won't pay his drivers shyte. Realize a guy like Harvisk, Hamlin, the Busch bros. all the big name drivers have contracts in the millions every year. Wallace im guessing gets maybe a million from Petty.
Wallace more than likerly will move on to another team within 5 years and with a name like Petty you will never see a bankruptcy from that team. He would sell it first. You can buy it. Petty is 83 years old now.
Who knows, maybe someone will take over the team and give Wallace better equipment and that could turn into better finishes.

The company that supplies all the Goodyear racing tires to all the teams here in the Southeast is located here in High Point, N.C. Huggins Tire Co. I got to know them and they asked me to be a gopher on Sundays. Not a big deal, but for a yankee from up north that moved here 30 years ago going to all these tracks being in ther pits was pretty cool. I mean i used to go to there pit meetings before each race. Earnhardt, Wallace, Jarrett, Bodine, Rudd, Kulwicki. Those guys could race and rub fenders and meant business. No tips don't bet on NASCAR, just Hockey and TDAmeritrade. Carry on.

Childress, Roush, Jimmie Johnson racing, bush racing and Jeff Gordon inc were all approved for loans. Now the info isn’t out there saying if they all took the loan but they applied and were approved. Floyd mayweathers company was approved for a loan too. Just more examples of how this was a stupid program set up to only benefit companies with a lot more money and to take the available money away from small businesses
