I normally do not have sympathy for people that are reckless. Like the moronic kids that had a Corona Virus party(I read this today) and had a prize for the 1st person to get the virus . They all purposely were trying to get it. These types of morons i have zero pity for.

But this guy had actually quarantined for months and just thought it was getting better. A poor decision yes but he from what i read was social distancing before this happened.

Personally we have not done anything with a large group. My niece and her husband we always go to their 4th of July party. They sent out an invite and we wanted to see how many were going. If only like 7 or 8 we would have went but there will be between 20-25 there . I do not feel safe with that many so we declined even though we really wanted to go. There is no cure for this and until they at least get something that lessens the symptoms we will not go anywhere there are large groups of people.

Within the past week, Alabama became one of 14 states to report a record-high number of cases in a single day. On Wednesday, the country as a whole set a record for daily cases, the fifth time this has happened in the past eight days.

i feel bad the guy lost his life but he is responsible for his actions. if he wore a mask/did things right then that is a tragedy. he did not and he had diabetes on top of it which makes his decisions even worse, sorry.

I agree with you i do feel more bad for this guy then a lot of others because he did do the right thing all the way up to where he went 1 time to the party. His bad lapse could cost others too . A shame because he did so well up to that one point . I think he just bought into the false hype when they reopened stuff near him thinking it was going to be safe.

We normally go every year to a 4th of July party. We waited to see just how many were going. If only a few we were going to go. But turns out 20-25 are going . That is just way too many to take a chance. We already pushed back our Gettysburg trip to Sept i am wondering if it will even be safe to go by then too .
