Vegas has a ton of nice areas. JJ is just too poor to live near them. His keyboard warrior computer gig doesn’t pay enough. I have a house off TPC Las Vegas. No meth, no losers, notta. Hardly even know you are anywhere near a casino. Again, JJ can’t afford above an hourly motel and doesn’t have the bankroll. He was probably in a Siegel Suites off strip giving hand jobs out to place $5/10 team parlays.
