    Of all the Italian traditions...
    Simply cannot believe this of all the traditions brought over to Ellis Island did not carry over and thrive.

    Calico storico is the sport to play, this is definitely a bucket list item. Unfortunately you have to be born in Florence Italy.

    Where the eff was this sport for us over here growing up? Looks simply amazing and fun as hell.

          just a simple correction, it's Calcio Storico, or sometimes Calcho Storico (historical football) Still played today, Florence natives only. Four teams play tournament style on June 24th. It i not a league.I have heard of it before, when I was younger, I remember my uncle mentioning it. Do u know why it looks brutal ? Because it is, lol.

              Grandfather on my Mother's side from Florence. Didn't speak a word of English, and been dead since '65, or I'd inquire. Sorry Bro.
