i blocked landon johnson in high school. hes not famous though. i probably played against some others but he was the only famous high school player i was responsible for in a game. famous for my district at least.

In 1984 I played corner for the Western Wildcats in then unincorporated Fort Lauderdale, now I think they are part of Davie, Fl. Anyways, Michael Irvin torched me for probably 400 yards and 5 touchdowns one fall day actual a half if I remember correctly. The Wildcats regularly went 1-9 every year, and St. Thomas might be the biggest football factory in the world in terms of high school players that went to the NFL. They regularly go 10-0 and may still play Western every year although I moved out of the area in 1997 so I really don't know.

If you search, I'm sure there is video of me getting torched on every play. Just look for the white guy who occasionally got within 15 yards of Irvin and is in the camera shot seemingly by mistake. Hell its not like I didn't have help either, we tried to double and triple team him, but it just didn't matter

I didn't play with them but my high school has turned out some huge stars as well as many famous people....

Jamaal Wilkes, Eddie Mathews, Randall and Sam Cunningham, Jessie Orosco, Tom Curren, Ryan Spilborghs, and Charles Schwab, Josh Brolin, Karch Kiraly and many more.... Our baseball field is named "Eddie Mathews Field....... All went to Santa Barbara High School. Other famous stars that went to different schools in Santa Barbara. Katy Perry went to Dos Peublos, Chuck Liddell went to San Marcos... there are a ton of others.....
