Not playing a different game, but if you think everyone will be in prime high peak conditioning at the first tip or pitch you are sadly mistakened. You can’t handicap how diligently someone stayed in shape during the delay unless you see it.

I certainly don't know it all, and it's obviously easier to shoot down new ideas than to expand on or even come up with them.

I was thinking all stars with your idea but it your idea could be more short term. Not sure we get enough games to get the effects we're looking for. It will be interesting if we hear of a high profile athlete in ICU or something with COVID.

Then we're looking into an effect on next year's team, perhaps, as there's is an unlikely chance it's outright career ending in the worst case scenario.

1) Manfred must go.
His ideas are beyond ludicrous.
They make no sense.'

2) In a 60 game season teams that have a strong front three rotation starters will dominate.
Pay attention to teams with ace starters that eat up innings.
Nats for instance, you can work Max, Stras, Corbin every fifth day in a sprint like 60 game season.
You can work your horses in a short season, you can't send out your studs every fifth day in a full 162 game schedule.

Long story short if you got starting pitching your'e in the hunt, if you don't you won't compete.
Pitching wins, always has, always will.

I moved some of the key free agents to their 2020 teams.
The Phils may challenge the Nats now with a dependable Wheeler in the three spot of the rotation.
Teams like my Royals will get buried because their staff ace (Keller or Junis) will get shelled.

All stars or high profile athletes for sure. Djokovic testing positive is an athlete to look at. Although a very healthy individual, not likely to suffer badly from the corona virus but could suffer some mild lung damage. This could effect his play slightly enough for his opponent to capitalize on it. That's the edge or angle I was hoping for. Of course team sports are different again. 100%. Sports are pretty much life. Kind of lost without them. Actually sports is what woke up North America. Sports leagues shutting out billions and billions of dollars sure shows the severity of the virus. Hope for the best and stay healthy JJgold.
