Testing in care facilities and prisons

I can only speak for Florida but we're now close to 2mm tested (3rd in Country) and of course many retirees and assisted living and closed/ gated communities. Prison population high as well.

Big state is hospization rate is lower than April, and ICU is actually 30% empty....which is crazy...hospitals actually losing money here because of that.

It appears the strain is weakened or has mutated a bit and is less leathal....more skin to the flu as initially indicated, but if there are underlying conditions the suffering can be much more harsh...which we're all aware of now.

I thought that too however the serious/critical numbers have barely budged from when the peak of deaths were at the highest or well into the 2K's per day.......

All viruses love warm temperetures, its where they reproduce the fastest. If anything, uv light can slow their growth at times but I dont know if thats true for coronaviruses or more specificaly covid-19

client of mine has it, got if from a salesman who calls on her electrical supply company.... she only had a six-seven minute convo with him, from about six feet away. he didn't even know he had it a the time, tho he started having symptoms a day or two later after they had met. now his whole company has the shit, practically. said it was like the worst hangover you've ever had, and lasts for a week or so, she finally felt human again after one week of just wanting to sleep, according to her.....

Since you're in Texas, I believe, you'll be hearing a lot of this soon. Within 4-6 weeks I think more Texans will have had covid than New Yorkers. Hope you don't need a hospital in the near future. Gonna be slammed in a lot of places.
