I was following mine and yours so don't remember details of your trip..he won by a half length..mine got 3rd @10 -1
and missed 2nd by about a nose (head at most) and was 10 (9-1)..they have a bet over there called a place quiniela which pays 1st and 3rd and that paid $32/$2 ..2nd horse was 12 (11-1) and exacta paid $123..mine probably would've been similar..of course the former you can't bet here

saw one of the two in R8 got 2nd at 8..good job

last comment bump 9 / unbalance 2 /mucus.. guess they scoped him afterwards

9 and 2 probably means 900 and 200 meter mark

200 meters = 1 furlong

finished 10th both times.. sounds like triple digits again.. hey seen quite a few win there at astronomical odds.. about a week ago a horse paid $576 ($2) to win lol ..good luck tonight.. look forward to the replays in the morning!

it's year round with a break I believe around mid july to late august.. would have to check the exact dates.. they alternate between 2 tracks and seems (I should know by now but I'm getting mentally feeble) it's happy valley weds @ 6:45am and sha tin 12:30am sunday

if you go to the site the purses are given in hong kong $.. divide by around 8 to get us $.. I would say off the top that an average purse in hong kong is more than double an average purse at belmont (2.5 maybe more accurate but think 3x is too much)

been to both racetracks in hong kong, i dont remember seeing them field less than 10 horses per race, they take horses seriously there, always fun to go

yes they take like a month off in the summer because of the heat, purses are much bigger than the states for sure, literally every dude bets on horses there

wow that's cool..when they pan around on occasion it looks very impressive ..I had a friend who traveled there regularly on business in the 70's-90''s and it's like baseball and football here..about a half dozen papers devoted to it if if remember what he told me..in the late 90''s when they had it at the meadowlands there would be charter buses from I guess chinatown taking people to see the racecard overnight ..they do love the horses

I think you'll hit some nice ones over time and those are the ones that make the difference.. you had a good one last week at 9..I really think you can't look at this week to week.. if you have a couple of bad weeks i'm not deterred by it.. it'll be interesting over the long haul
