And the unpredictability will carry over to next season as well with no offseason. More injuries and more player rest days at the last minute

No evidence of points 1-3, agree with chemistry but should be restored quickly.
I will bet this after first few sample games or find someone sharper then me to follow

Why will they be unbettable? They might be unwatchable but definitely not unbettable. In fact the games will be very easy to cap once you watch and cap the first couple games to see which players are not giving full effort.

Listening to a report on the radio....there are still so many things that have to be determined that it seems impossible to get everything defined in a short time period. My prediction is that after going over everything they will decide to scrap the season.

Baseball seems in a bad position too because the money difference of owners/players. Many star players will take a year off rather than risk their safety for less than 50% of their contract.

As for basketball.....well who cares about the NBA.

I think there will be opportunity. Let's keep in mind it was an almost unanymous vote from the players. They will have plenty of time to get in shape with camp.

Kids playing for spots will go 130% assuming everyone is and will be quarantining appropriately why would there not be incentive to play hard if everyone in the league (and support staff) will be controlled.

Major sports have the money to control this in a short duration. They just choose not to.
