Sam,

If you have only been allotted what you have for the summer, how about running this Friday only for June and July? The 5 time slots will open this up to a lot of people and that’s not so much a time commitment. I’d be surprised if some of these tournaments even get 10 people in this current state.

Let’s be honest. The last promo was announced before COVID. The summer is typically a small promo. They are not going to offer any more. It is what it is.

I just don’t see how this can work out with people playing every day and getting nothing.

I'm predicting that the fall Poker contest will make up for all the points not given out for the summer contest. There is literally no sports going on right now. Once the NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS and NFL start playing in August there would be more points to give away for Poker.

Just bear with SBR for 2 months or take time off if you think it doesn't deserve your time. The promo that just ended was very generous. They were giving much more points to the top 2 finishers than previous contests. It was based on pre-Covid19 projections and they kept paying you points until the end of contest until this week. They could have easily said 2 months ago that the promo prizes will need to be reduced based on Covid19 unprecended shutting down of all sports but they kept paying you 3000 points every night for the last two months and didn't reduce the Final Day contest prizes. Don't be greedy. Take what they give you or take time off.

plus factor in the countless scams by Waves, Leet and Snapperclown and there you go

I’m sure many will be unhappy. Personally could care less. If you wanna play, play. If not, have at it.

Good points Philly. It’s free so we have no right to complain. If you want to play for the love of the game/pass boredom/etc....then play. If you have better things to do....then do them.

Poker may end up dying here due to economic conditions....and if so, it’s understandable. Just be thankful it had the run it did.

This is all true, but how is anyone going to play so much for so little? I think running it one day a week is a better idea

*JakePeavy. Seemingly always near top of Leaderboard.

I'm not sure that SBR Poker has given away too much = They've always been smart about how their points work, they have a nice model of providing important information & a great platform for gamblers - so if their business is growing with the help of poker giveaways then maybe they should even give away more, but that is probably not the case. There's no doubt that they've made the business decision to lessen or eliminate their poker presence and to focus solely on sports betting - probably the data demands that, it seems like SBR Poker just wouldn't grow no matter what they did, so you're probably right Rudy but maybe not. I always liked SBR's poker and I'm going to miss it because you could play without care, and doing that helps one to understand the game, but it is called SPORTS BOOK Review not Sports Book & POKER Review.

The have given almost $10,000 in bitcoin for the last promo. I think that's a lot for what they get in return from the poker players. 95% of the poker players do not contribute any posts or start threads in the forum.

Good point, SBR shouldn't offer any poker promos until NFL is back. Then World Cup maybe?

Well this is the first step to following your advice, because this isn't a poker promo at all. It's them completely nuking dailies disguised as a promo. A promo is supposed to be something on top of the dailies. This is the opposite of that

As I've said, if they don't have it in the funding, just say so, no need to treat us like we're stupid

Maybe things will get back to normal later
