The AHL ending its 2019-20 doesn't mean the NHL plans to follow suit. It could impact the way NHL teams construct their rosters going forward, however.

he really meant he has never seen an AHL game which would apply to just about everyone. very few televised and have never seen a line on any of them. who here has watched an entire AHL game unless you actually went to one. the fights used to be entertaining way back when. out and out brawls.

He said he never heard of it... Anyways agree with you saying none have seen it really. Ive seen it and ECHL the IHL only because like you said i actually went. And im not a big hockey fan by no means. Me and friends would go on 1.00 coneys and beer nights, also a nice cheap date

If the NHL starts back up, AHL players would then report and start working out. Just like they do after their AHL season ends. As long as the parent NHL team is still alive in the playoffs, the AHL team still works out and practices in case they get a call up.
