All's it takes is just one player, coach, trainer, etc. etc. to come down with this virus after camps open.
The one player then spreads it to two more, and so on.......

What happens next is that teams schedule comes to a screeching halt.
That team can't practice now, they can't play any scheduled games.
(see where I'm going here)

This is what I think will happen if camps open prematurely.
There'll be at least one more case, more than one.
Pro sports has to wait on a vaccine.

At this point just shut the whole thing down.

College sports may move on without a few schools. Pro sports may have to move on without some people too. No reason for Ohio State to wait on Rutgers making sure the coast is clear before everyone resumes sports.

As for sports if that's the question I think north America is behind Europe in terms of where the virus is. Let's keep in mind they had it bad first and than it got bad here. Let's wait until June and see how the German soccer league does. Italy will open the soccer leagues soon as well. It's only 3 more weeks. The players can resume some practice next few weeks. Sometimes you just have to be cautious and see how others are doing it.

Makes smart business sense not to open. Opening the facility costs a lot of money. Players could get hurt.

Who the heck knows when the NBA will start again, the players seem least willing to play from all the major sports.

No revenue to gain here, only costs/liabilities.

I'll tell you how it ends up.

The Bucks would have played probably one of the two LA teams.
Since ESPN is infatuated with Lebron more than likely it would have been the Bucks playing the Lakers.

At this point I really do not care if the Nba and Nhl do not come back.Only they will be paid.If the arenas are empty nobody is there to get paid vendors and so forth.

Ha! That's actually true. In Europe all the noise about wanting the club seasons to end is coming from the Afro-American foreigners. In Australia the players association agreed to a harsh salary reduction and the foreigners are leaving en mass. In the NBA they're all terrified. I think I read Fournier was against returning to action (typical insolent French!) but otherwise the Europeans are ready to get back at it
