Are there any good casinos in IA? I like to do gambling road trips through different states. I did the eastern part of IA last winter. Man they were all dives. No table games. Sportsbooks were good but gd casino part of casinos sucked. Someone told me the casinos in western IA are better. True or false fishhead?

I remember that day so well. Dad was going to make me go out in the woods like we always did on Saturdays to cut firewood for the winter. I begged Mom to let me watch the game. Mom won out. I still had to stack wood until really late, but at that point I didn't care. I was so excited we won. It ended up being a bit of a disappointment that we didn't go undefeated.

I remember year Hawks beat Nebraska, UCLA and Michigan. This is when Neb and Ucla, Mich were long time powers, 1980.

Damn, that had to be something being there. I've been to Kinnick many, many times, but I was a little young then and my Dad doesn't even know what a first down is. My mom on the other hand got more and more into sports. She would be the one that would watch games with me. Kind of backwards, but it was just the way it went.

Very interesting observation by Ara. On the play above, Iowa went to a 6-2 goal line style defense.

They out-numbered Mich at point of attack. Station was free to make the tkl.
