Right now it stands at 64,324 with several hours still to count.
We will hit 2,000 again today and finish around 65,000 after May 1.

But the University of Washington Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation
think over the next 3 full months and 3 days that there will be
only about 9,073 more deaths ??????

WTF ??!
Their 74,073 estimate by August 4 might well be exceeded by next Friday!!!

numbers are fake/inflated and mostly all from a couple of states that are the most densely populated

those areas/states should continue to stay on lockdown

the rest of the country is fine and should reopen with some new safety standards with masks/sanitizing if it requires people being real close and/or touching like for hair cuts and shit
