You are saving hundreds per month when you buy at the grocery store. Do the math.

Around here, they keep running customer service announcements about price gouging, but prices are definitely going up, and in some cases things are being rationed (like beef)

Poor schmuck, I remember those days feeding multiple mouths while being married. It takes a toll on the old bank roll.

They don’t need to be retailers right now... they have us by the balls. Less deals, people eating like a gavone = higher bill.

Spending more at the grocery store but not going out to lunch 3 times a weeks so it’s about even.

Prices are higher, no sales at Target or Walmart. No need to have sales when people are buying more groceries.

So its both. Double Whammy?? We might notice if it were one or the other, but both definitely makes a difference.

way more expensive and no sales. Went by the store yesterday though and everything was stocked really well so looks like people are buying less. Meat was stocked, no limits. paper towels, eggs, pasta, all fine

6 dollars for a carton of eggs, 10 dollars for paper towels, and 4.50 a pound for beef will keep the shelves stocked.
