iBetSims 2020 - try to entertain some people during lockdown.

Spent a few days watching and trying to figure out these video game sims. Played most of my life and I understand how these operate and I feel like I have a good grasp on how they flow and matchup.
Some people want to shy away from these, but honestly this is a point where the books are new to setting lines and we actually could find some edge.

Running my own games for each matchup, finding trends, evaluating roster matchups and x factor/superstar abilities.

This isnt any more degenerate than betting on sports played by actual people. I would argue it would be more predictable, with the human factors removed. No player or person is hiding anything. You know the ratings, and they dont change.
Going to track what im going with and see how it goes til I get bored or give up.

Started on Bovada, however moving to MyBookie for now. Way more options to choose from and better juice. Limit is way lower but ill see if I can remedy that if needed.
Focusing on Madden for now, may throw in NBA and UFC sparingly.

Ran 10 simulations of my own. Falcons covered this number 8 times.
Scored 34, 23, 17, 31, 38, 21, 45, 41, 34, 31
A key here is of course Julio Jones with the double me x factor. And Matt Ryans superstar ability inside the numbers. Perfect accuracy on all throws inside the numbers that dont have a high/low adjustment to them.
Fast receivers and tight ends get a lot of targets in these sims. Saints defense has terrible coverage linebackers. And corners cannot hang with the speed. A madden weakness is pass coverage on fast guys.
Saints should also be able to score which gives the Falcons more possessions.
Toyed with the idea of Saints TT o30, but simulations had falcons covering more often with them often hitting 17 by halftime at least.

Thanks for the heads up. Ill see what I feel is going on after a bit. Im wondering though if they fixed it why limit bets to $250 straight and $100 on parlays. Seems counterproductive.

Falcons went for 2 in a situation ive never seen a CPU go for two.
Down by 20 in the 4th and chewing clock. Gets to goalline, runs 3 times then throws on 4th.

Watching line movement could actually be a pretty good indication if they are rigged or not

Yeah im not sure if these sims play different. Will have to keep watching them to see whats going on.

So they dont have it listed anywhere in their rules page, but after watching this game they have the accelerated clock much lower meaning the ball is getting snapped around the 7 second playclock mark. Shortening the game quite a bit. Would explain what I perceived as low team totals.

Also they listed default updated rosters on their rules page. Yet somehow Jaylen Samuels is the starting halfback for the Steelers from number 3 on the depth chart.

Idk if it’s the posters curse or what’s going on. Had a good little run first couple of days before I made the thread. Now I couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat.
