    Stay safe

Winds coming up here to Chicago today, got an alert that our power could be disrupted

that's a pretty shitty scenario during a stay at home order

    Same to you Arch.

In Central New York, we are supposed to get 60 mph gusts and have tornado warnings.

One just missed Surfside Beach and went out into the ocean. Looks like the worst is over the ocean now. Hopefully no damage to the house when I get home.

it would be if there were radioactive fallout dust swirling around in the tornado winds. tornado's travel in a very narrow path. now if you unlucky enough to be in that path it can be an issue. they seem to like trailer parks the best and usually seek them out.

                              Not so sure about that?

What I do know is the population is growing and spreading out across America and taking up more land so when a tornado hits ground these days it is more likely to cause alot more destruction and deaths rather then it normally would have 50 years ago.

More housing these days and more people means there are simply more targets to hit in other words when it comes to tornado's and even earthquakes. Hurricanes as well..

was lucky as they were 40 miles north and 30 miles south of me. in 2011 town i live was completly destroyed by a EF5 and still has not recovered.
