OK, I just took a further look at all the sub 60 shot rounds of golf in PGA history.
There have been ten of them.
There have been nine rounds where 59 was recorded, and one round of 58 (which is the record)
I don't know how many rounds of golf there have been played in PGA history but my educated guess would be a shitload.
So..... upon further review the sub 60 round of golf would be just as a rare as a perfect game if not rarer.
That's my final stance on that.
