The players will need to be tested for the virus prior to starting the season again. That means about 600 players have to be tested and found virus free. Then they need 3 weeks of training to come back to form. You are looking at June starting again with best case scenario.

Test all the players before practice and before games. I don't see the big deal in doing that? If a player at any time tests positive then send him home immediately to recover until he tests negative again. Then he can rejoin the team after.. Encourage self quarantine with just family during the week also for all during the season.

The key to it working is daily testing for all athletes and refs, coaches and staff to make it work..

I think most athletes, coaches, refs, trainers, camera men, crew and staff would be up for that.

And justg where would you find the extra Medical Personnel to waste their time testing these athletes? On a scale of 1 to 10 dealing with the importance of sports with 1 being not important at all and 10 being critically important, sports rates a 1 1/2.

Is there a quick and efficient testing system available though that can do that? Easy to say to test them before practice and games, but if it takes a day for the results to turn around, it's useless since that possibly infected player already came into contact with a bunch of people.
