Further, the horrifying virus is easily cured with meds the msm/dems don't want us to have access to if we wind up being the one in a thousand or so who winds up needing them, and the virus generally won't do anything significant to the population unless the population foolishly wrecks the world's economy over something only 3-5 times worse than the common flu....

This virus kills a minimum of 1%. 10x as deadly as the flu. More likely 2% or 20x as deadly. R0 is 2-3. Some carriers are known to have infected 15+. You, like many, are clueless. Unless someone you care about dies you will run around spewing bullshit.

CDC stated 3.4% . Italy has a death rate north of 10% so far. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt that 50% of cases are asymptomatic and never known or confirmed. If that is the case 3.4% is actually closer to 1.7%. This is not comparable to the flu. Anyone stating otherwise is in a double digit IQ range and full of shit.

Even if the death rate is only .5%(which many will claim is very good), it’s still 5x the death rate of flu. About 50K on average die from flu which means 250K from this if only 1 out 6 get infected like the flu. The problem is 6 out 6 can get this so where will that put the numbers at? Even if only 2/6 get this at .5% we are talking 500K deaths. Plus the over crowding at hospitals will cause more problems than anything. Some just don’t like or can’t understand the math.

The biggest problem isn’t even about the deaths, it’s about a mass amount of people getting infected all at once. Very few if any are totally immune from this. It’s about carriers and infecting others more than anything. And the only way to control that is staying home as much as possible right now.

2 things

#1 - dead people tend not to post. So no way to prove no one has
#2 - in the US, 0.01% of the population has tested positive. A multi national forum with a few thousand active members (many of whom exist pretty much isolated to begin with by the looks of it) is a pretty weak argument.
