Friends of mine were already in that position before this happened and now this has really complicated matters for them. They have a 5 year old girl who was diagnosed last year with a rare disease that attacks her immune system. As it is she only had a 50% chance of living a normal life. She is on chemotherapy now, but if she were to catch this, I doubt she would survive. I’m sure there are many parents with kids in similar positions as my friends.
