Every country would've distanced each other from China and had serious travel restrictions that would've drastically effected the chinese economy. That's my guess. Most corrupt government out there. I think Trump was saying this as well. I'm not sure he was saying it early in the spead but he was definitely saying it by mid/late March. Of course, so were many others. China can never be trusted to give accurate data.

China has been lying this whole time. Since December at a minimum.

Massive Chinese companies with operations here in Australia have been standing down their employees from regular duties since before Christmas so they could stockpile medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, gloves, hand sanitiser, etc. One of their warehouses got exposed on Tuesday (our time) and the company - I think it's called GreenAcre - came out and admitted it. 90 tonnes of this shit was being sent in each shipment but the Chinese company said it was to "try to protect and contain the outbreak". Meanwhile our sick and elderly here are now being handled with whatever our hospitals can manage to get their hands on while we wait for more supplies to come IN to our country.

Utter scumbags they are. Seriously. Not Chinese people as a whole obviously but cokksukkers in their government. Total pigs and murderers.

Some countries don't have the testing capacity that china or russia has, i get that, but lying about these numbers is so wrong. Most chinese and russian people i do business with/meet ( alot ), hate their government

The us having more numbers than any other country is LESS indicative of the downplaying of the virus by Trump and his cultish followers, but more a reflection of a super robust testing capacity
