That’s the exact problem we’re facing. Instead of putting America first and fixing the problem, Trump and his supporters are putting socialism and big government above the people.

You can get very close to that right now. Two acres an hour or two from Las Vegas is only about $800 to $1000 per year in taxes. Further away from metro areas in states with lower property taxes could be half that. Bernie (like Trump, Hilary, and Obama) has no plans to change that.

Bernie Sanders may be the one who saves this country with his ideas instead of Trump. There is a lot of Bernie in this stimulus bill.

US House of Representatives has the “power of the purse,” the ability to tax and spend public money for the national government.

              Dems control the House

Democrats only have a majority in the house, Republicans have a majority in the senate and Trump is the one who signed it into law. Had he not done that, it would have gone back to the senate. There has never been anywhere close to 20 Republican senators to go against Trump.

The elections to put these people in Washington were supposed to have consequences. The only consequence has been giving Trump the power to push his socialism on us. But that's exactly what all the liberals meant when they were screaming Make America Great Again.

Great point. Even the Trump Tax Cuts were really just Democrat Tax Cuts.

Now that Trump has shown he has no problem throwing the entire country under the bus of socialism, what hope is there for any of us?

The only green deal was 25 million for the Kennedy arts center I believe which is pennies considering. The big addition was the unemployment bump of 600 for each person but if you don’t do something when you call it a stimulus for the people in which only some get a 1200 dollar check and 500 billion goes to support companies that were fiscally irresponsible then the whole bill is kind of a lie from the get go.
Overall I think the whole bill is trash both sides. I don’t think you should help companies out that can’t handle their finances. Make them file bankruptcy like any other person would have to do in this situation or have them figure it out. And I don’t think that it should be allowed to not have transparency on who is taking the 500 billion bailout which I heard Trump say he was going to not allow the oversight
I don’t think 1200 dollars to some people does anything especially considering most people won’t see that money for weeks. By that time many have figured it out.
I think the 600 bump in unemployment is going to be a deterrent for people to look for jobs till after that expires.
Overall we are all to blame though. We fight amongst each other choosing one side of the other and we continue to not put blame on who we elect. Many just circle a box for 99 percent of the people they vote for without any real basis. In the end we are continuing to put future generations in a world of hurt and people’s selfishness above all. It’s a sad sight
