SLee won a big freestyle tournament in middle of folkstyle season. Kyle Snyder has done things similar, but this is so hard.

Two different wrestling styles. The rules are different, the difference is big enuf. So hard to practice folkstyle and just show up at the freestyle tournament + just dominate it.

Brands has talked about appealing the NCAA for another year of eligibility for wrestling.

I'm sure he won't have any luck, but it would have been cool for Lee to get 4.

Hawk, been reading up on my old wrestling. A few comments:

1) Was "Wrestling on IPTV" the best thing ever? Wow...that was well-produced.

2) Long-time announcer Doug Brown passed away some years ago at age 66. Way too young.

3) As for Lee, wow. Go back and watch some of his old matches:
a) Watch his Junior World finals. His comeback in 2016 was amazing.
b) This guy is so good that in his SR yr of hi-school...it took a blown-out knee for him to lose by 1pt to the nationally-ranked #4. Year b4...he beat the same guy 15-0!
c) Don't fret Lee losing a year too much. He can still get 3x and maybe get Iowa a natl team title. Then, we'll see him on World stage. Not a given that he can secure world spot vs older guys (yet). But we could be looking at a Decade where SLee + KSnyder lead our team.

I just want to take a moment to thank my team, coaches and family. I am truly honored to be the 2020 hodge recipient and represent my university. The 2020 Hawkeyes accomplished everything we could of. Right now we stay home, stay healthy and wait for March 2021.
