since it’s the “Corona” virus and Trump is calling it the Chinese virus...
Can we rename it “Bat Drop Soup Virus”

Most important thing is safe food supply. If that goes, then this is not sustainable.

Worried much more about Americans inability to prepare for something worse moreso than the virus itself. People are so mentally ill prepared to deal with this. I mean a lot of 100s of thousands of people are hoarding toilet paper. What the heck does that tell you about survival ideology.

Well said. When Toilet Paper and Soap are the priority.... you have to question our ability to adapt. Humanity is bleak.

No need to be worried about the virus we will all get it. Worried about the folks who continue to put others at risk of getting it.

I will admit, more concerned than early on, but mainly because it seems we're not being told everything

asked a doctor friend about this last night, his response:
Worried more about our preparation for something bigger in the future. If our hospitals are overwhelmed, it's the fact they treat each case like The Andromeda Strain. This is completely unnecessary as COVID-19 is only slightly more infectious than the flu. The flu is 1.5, COVID-19 is 2.0. 87% of all new deaths from COVID-19 come from 1% of the countries. These actual numbers are completely weak compared to the common flu. It's actually embarrassing. The only scary part is these "projections" which will NEVER happen.

Bill Mitchell’s fans and some right-wing personalities are fuming at Mitchell after he said he wanted to interview the big politicians in D.C. and then moved to Miami.

This is still a new virus and we know very little about it, meaning long term effects
That alone has me worried

I quit playing the lottery because I wont be around to spend the money!! Economy down the tube, unemployment setting records and now we have deaths because no bed in hospitals. The only thing that keeps me going are Trumps press conferences where he says everything will be ok then I hit the bottle. where is he. I NEED HIM1!

Biggest immediate problem is overrun hospitals short on supplies. The scenes could be war-like and worse. That's why NY and others top priority is finding sites and workers to set up shop. These health care workers are going to have to be even more heroic than 9/11 first responders.

bets, what are you thinking of the promising new details we're getting on hydroxychloroquine. I read New York is starting trials asap on it. Id imagine other cities are as well.

At some point, it will be better to have an inordinate number of coronavirus deaths than to simply shut down the entire economy.

Panic shoppers: also be sure to stock up on condoms, so you don't produce any more idiots.

lol, heard a call on the radio the other day where doctors were answering questions on Corona. This idiot calls in and says he's very promiscuous. He asks the doctor if he should START wearing condoms now due to the virus. LOL.

The virus is not scary the economic collapse will be damaging in the next few weeks it will feel the heat......and here I am electing to stay home my job site is still running we are slotted to work 6 weeks straight, 7 days a week 12 hour days....that’s a lot of fukin money I’m slowly missing but I’d like to give it another week and see where we are at. Meanwhile I built a bad ass zip line for the kids in the backyard and I erected a trampoline for them as well.....the thing is in my line of work people don’t stay home if they are sick, don’t wash their hands ect..... I hate to say I’m secretly licking my chops hoping for once in my life I can be the guy who’s got enough capital to actually benefit from a huge collapse....
