Funeral homes are always BIG BUSINESS regardless. I'd have gotten into that business in a heart beat myself years ago if I didn't mind being around dead bodies and crying families 24/7..
People are dying more and more then ever before just because of the baby boomers and over population... People (families) like to spend lot's of money on dress up and BIG funerals for the dead.. That's a business that is recession proof!!!
I think it's grotesque to have open casket funerals myself.. I think it's silly to have Caskets periods for the dead. Then you got mortician work on the dead body to make it look nice and that just seems morbid to me.. Close that shiiit.. It's over!! I don't want to see my loved ones all made up like that after passing on..
Further more - Cremate my ass and give all my working organs to whom ever I don't care, I'm gone!!! Dust to dust quicker is good in my book, save the ground space.. Why get buried and let the worms eat your rotting corpse 6 feet under for decades after decades of time?.. Your grave site will be long gone and built over anyways in a few centuries time..

You can make a $100,000 grand a year plus bonus to be a mortician if you aren't afraid of working on the dead.. Learn the trait and you'll never be out of work.. They are hiring.. A few stitches here, a little face make up there, etc..
