China really clamped down on it, including using human rights violations and I suspect they are lying. But It will pop back up in bigger numbers at some point with them. I'm hoping its a warm temp thing as Wuhan has been in 70's?

i think it is lack of testing also.

as testing increases here we get more cases. on the plus side, that lowers the percentage of severe and mortal cases.

Different parts of the world are at different stages of the process. China is near the end (although it could pop up again). Russia, and to some extent South America are just getting started. If you jump on it early enough, you might be able to stop the spread, so perhaps Russia still has a chance, but probably not. A month ago there weren't very many cases in North America either.

Russia and China covering up numbers now and don't want to bring global attention to them is my best guess.. They both also don't care about their own people dying off so it's no surprise.. China tried the big cover up in Wuhan where it started in the wet markets already so we know they are shady...

Russia has done an incredible job of quarantine in Moscow with a 5 year jail sentence if you break the quarantine and infect an individual that ends up dying
