Any model like this is worthless without revealing assumptions.

Does this just assume that the actions we take have no consequence? What assumptions about human behavior are built into these models?

Yes, and it this actual infections or only positive tests. There is no question that actual cases is more than reported cases by a factor of...? 5? 10? And that will continue. Because people are staying home unless they have serious symptoms, and most won't.
