After a successful season with the Saints as a backup, he is joining the Carolina Panthers as a starter. Outside of Brady, Bridgewater was certainly the biggest name to sign.
Was it the right decision for the Panthers? Where will Cam Newton end up?
ANYONE WOULD BE BETTER THAN CAM,it is all about his ego, when he was doing great all we seen was that stupid superman pose, when he was losing he had a towel over his head.the guy is a loser now.goodbye, dont let the door hit you in the ass

makes no sense to sign Bridgewater if they are trying to tank for Justin Fields

Teddy is steady. That’s what a total rebuild needs. Not an erratic inaccurate superstar.

Yes, he's going to be great and everyone has to be happy for him. Don't see alot of guys using the backup gig to land a big deal. His injury was unfortunate in timing, cost him alot. Most guys don't recover from that

teddy can start. he has some arm.
he needs to do a little more than what he did in some saints games though. offense got stagnant.

He was okay with the Viking. He had several good players on the offensive side of the ball to work with.
Panthers have McCaffrey and that is about it.
Cam was very unproductive his last few seasons.

Wasn’t he good for the Vikings prior to the injury?

I think Cam had a good run but I don’t blame the Panthers for moving on. I mean how long can we be patient with this guy? He has lost his last 9 football games and in the past 2 seasons he hasn’t even played in 16 games.
He is a really good person, he did a lot for the community but it’s a business. Honestly though we shouldn’t feel too bad for him. He was making 19 million per season.
