See, this is why you are human garbage. Wishing a large group of hardworking Americans to lose their jobs, homes, savings is not cool. I will do my best to make sure our businesses, our partners and team members all stay up and running even if it cuts into my end for a bit.

Casinos being greedy right now. Close up for 2-4 weeks. Keep as many people employed and paid as possible. Every property needs cleaning and repairs. Use small groups of employees in spread out areas and rooms to deep clean and do simple maintenance work. Majority of the workers would be union so they will fall in line. 30 hr work weeks will maintain benefits. A lot of back of house and marketing can be done from home. Your f&b and gaming people will likely be hit hardest. Some could do machine repair and deep cleaning and f&b can have some doing cleaning, inventory, prep. Dealers, waitresses, bartenders will be collecting unemployment.

El Dorado is more concerned with trying to keep their takeover of Caesars from going up to take a short term hit. It is going to bury them and their employees. Good luck raising 7.5 billion in the gaming sector right now guys. I feel terrible for all of their employees who have already been laid off and just as bad for the ones that are left on property in a Petri dish of global travelers right now. Their greed is making them look worse than mgm imo and that is virtually impossible.

You should hear some of the stories I’m being told about various companies exec meetings over the past month. Everyone worried about their bonuses and not big picture. Not many stand up people at top of these companies and the best thing that could happen is they get broken up into smaller companies. Get back to providing value and giving their guests what they want, not what the casinos want to give their guests. Smaller companies will allow some to privatize and not deal with shareholder bs.

Why mgm or Caesars didn’t eliminate their idiotic paid parking the minute they saw large cancellations happening is beyond me. It could have been done with minimal fanfare and when this bs goes away you never bring it back. Show appreciation upon the return of the masses.

Also I have a habit at times of shuffling 3 chips in my hand and my finger nails end scraping the felt table surface at times as well...
