no, there were still a couple guys that hadn't finished the first round... but yes on my matchups it was completed.

what happens if i had a matchup where one guy only played 17 holes?

it's as if the tournament didn't exist, certainly wasn't shortened, it was CANCELLED

My understanding is if they T off it counts, doesn’t matter if they finish or not, just as long as a T off. And whoever’s winning regardless if one finishes or not is considered the winner if one does and actually has the better score.

However under the circumstances I think there should be some flexibility

golf matchups are always WHO PLAYED THE MOST HOLES. so you're telling me someone should lose a tournament matchup bet on fitzpatrick because it got dark and he didn't finish the 18th hole on day 1?

I’m not arguing your point.

I’m just saying golf is different than other sports. Not saying I’m agreeing. Just saying that phrase must tee off had screwed me before.

Just like badeball a pitcher tosses 1 pitch then leaves game it counts under listed

i originally thought that, but if you read the first part of that rule it should be no action. the "official tournament and match results" are that the tournament never happened.

Wagers will be settled using the official tournament and match results (including final match correct score and individual match betting). This includes a match which finishes early, either by agreement of the players or because of injury.

Like I said under these circumstances I believe they will. Heritage always works for the punter.

Just saying why it was graded as is originally.

I had rahm +1.5 against rory for the tournament. Rahm up 4 strokes after round 1 and they graded it as a push on bookmaker. Seems right or no? Not sure with golf rules

If they are tournament matchups I'd assume they should be cancelled too.

Unless there was "Official tournament results" posted by the PGA.

personally, id even argue about 1st round matchups but thats more 50/50

tourney matchups should be 100% canceled
