Now the UFC can still hold fights with empty arena's.. Just test the fighters at weigh ins.. Cancel fighters infected.. Make it a make shift card..

The show should go on.. Fighters that can't fly in now is a problem though..

It's still a go for now!! Betting lines are still up on the books..

JIIIIBY I'm a total selfish bag of SALT over here.....so long ive waited for a UFC>.....got best tickets in house to watch Francis uppercut someone from 10 feet away......all for nothing....they gonna cancel the rooster_eater.....even have a 1G golden goat disposable for the event lol

Was just gonna be firing bets hitting the vape enjoying UFC....now---fuckn NOTHING lol...

That sucks Paper!! They'll refund your ticket and you can still watch it on TV at home most likely... Maybe not the end of the world buddy.

This is the 5th time they were supposed to fight.

It was canceled 4 times. If its canceled again, this will be the 5th.

If UFC folds because of Corona I'm cancelling my ESPN + membership.. Dana White should pull strings now and use his leverage..

Keep it going even with empty arena's or just smaller venues with an octagon in it... PPV sales should be way up also now.

Jib, isn't the UFC driven mostly by PPV and ESPN +? That's one sport where I wouldn't think the gate would be that vital. Empty arena = so what!

They fill up arena venues though.. Ticket prices aren't cheap always either..

They will lose in that area.. Still shrink the venues as all you need is an octagon and judging refs ring side.

They pull that off with the Ultimate Fighter tv show every week... PPV viewing does need crowd noise and enthusiasm one would think though..

It will get tricky.. We'll see what happens??? I don't see this going away though this weekend for starters..

I think that is what they will do.. It's only 2 men going into the Octagon.. Much like Boxing. Boxing shouldn't go away either if they go no crowds..

Incubation period is the bitch that probably forces them to cancel too. Fighter has to travel all over, and interact with tons of people. May get it, not know it, and spread the fun. Pretty much have to come to terms with the fact that this thing isn’t going anywhere for a bit, and chaos will continue to thrive.

This could honestly go either way....

1. Event is in Brazil and that country is known for not giving a shit

2. It is a UFC event and they are the only ones left who need to cancel to save face and brand reputation

Coin flip at this point. I still think it will get called off prior to fight time.
