Elizabeth Warren's progressive grassroots campaign never translated into
votes. By not dropping out like the moderate also rans did before ST she did more to damage
her progressive agenda than anyone other than Clyburn. Texas, Minnesota, Maine
& her own state Massachusetts went to Biden because of her insistence to
continue a campaign that had no chance.

Clyburn’s endorsement caused a stampede toward the Biden candidacy,
the rush to Biden on ST was so swift & astonishing that it almost invites
rethinking in the days to come. Biden's is as a terrible candidate as the
Dems have put up since the 70's.

I almost feel bad for ole Bernie, and his avid supporters. They are passionate, and formidable, yet they never had a real chance. Even another so-called progressive in Warren joined the establishment club, and helped bury Bern. He has a real movement behind him, but once again those in power wouldn’t give him a fair shake. Dems truly are some ruthless, corrupt bastards.

Republicans are too, but at least Trump was able to break through the establishment stronghold on the party. Looking forward to seeing Biden at work once he’s the last man standing, and the spotlight really starts shining on him. Trump hasn’t even begun to go at him.

Right now, he’s just laying the groundwork again to get Bernie voters to stay home, or maybe even vote for him. They are getting screwed once again, and will be furious once again. I do think they come out, and vote Dem more so this time compared to 2016. Hillary was just so awful that they were forced to stay home. Plus they didn’t really think Trump had a chance, so they didn’t feel the need to vote.

Their hatred for Trump this time around, and wanting him gone may be greater than their disdain for the establishment Dems treatment of Bernard. Plus they can justify voting for Biden by associating him with Obama. Trump is in for a battle. Dems will be fired up to get him out of office. Republicans need to get the base amped up, and make it known that Trump winning isn’t a foregone conclusion.

In the end, independents are the key, as usual. Trump needs those Obama voters that swung to him in 2016 to stick around. I think it’s going to be harder this time around than it ended up being against Hillary. Biden has more to offer those Midwest moderates that Clinton ignored. But, when it’s all said and done, Trump should be victorious again. He will eat Biden alive in the debates, and we will get the pleasure of gaffe after gaffe from senile Joe.
