So let's say the breakdown goes something like this:
Bernie 1850
Biden 1750
Bloomberg 200
Amy/Pete 50
Warren 50
Others 25

And we have Amy, Pete and Mike drop out and endorse Joe. Why should Amy, Pete and Mike's delegates not vote for Joe on the second ballot? Why would they vote for Bernie when their candidate endorsed Joe?

Have you ever complained about the electoral college? I can't remember.

Anyhoot, Dems will commit suicide if they don't give the nomination to the winner. The cheated Bernie voters will vote for Trump.

But Biden may offer a little protection down ballot.

I am not an expert on the US voting system, so I have a question.

Someone said here that if Bernie doesnt get the 1991 delegates then he wont get the nomination, because Amys and Petes delegates would go to Biden in the 2nd round. But if that is the case, then isnt it a good thing for Bernie that they dropped out? Because even though Biden gets most of the Amy and Pete votes now, Bernie will recieve a small portion of them. Bernie is also now a huge favourite to win Minnesota, where before it was a coinflip between him and Amy.

Now I know my reasoning is probably wrong because the odds have moved dramatically in favour of Biden. But where is my reasoning wrong?
