#4You wont get an upgrade at QB in Raider land with Rivers coming in.. That makes no sense unless he's a back up.
Indy seems like the more logical choice if you just go with only those 2 teams in trade talks..Comment -

#6Rivers is done. He has every weapon in the game and can't make plays. 2 stud WRs. 2 very good rbs. A great tight end.

#8Carr is a head case. He cries like a baby. Still, the Raiders will not pursue Rivers. He is a perfect fit for Indy. A lot also depends on what Tampa Bay decides to do with Mr. Turnover, Jamis Winston, another QB that has a void instead of a brain.Comment -

#17He looked washed last season. In his defense, the OL was really bad.
Indy might be a good fit if price is right. Great ol, tons of cap space to get more playmakers, indoor at least 9 games w home and Hou so his noodle arm might be offset and a coach in Reich who will call great plays.
Gruden loves vet qbs but I don’t see him wanting Rivers.Comment -

#21Spot on. Rivers is not what he once was but still has a good season or 2 left IF he has a very good oline and running game, which Indy has. Also, Reich was his offensive coordinator for a few seasons and Sirianni(colts o coordinator) was his QB coach, so there's familiarity. Don't forget, Rivers had a very good season 2 years ago. With indy he would succeed.Originally posted by Grits n' GravyHe looked washed last season. In his defense, the OL was really bad.

#22Is Rivers a loser or the Chargers management the losers here?Originally posted by Yulia74rivers has 9 children, unreal, should retire
hes a loser
Take a look at his career numbers with the swiss cheese o-lines he's had, it's staggering the numbers he's put up with what he's had to work with.
How exactly does having nine children make him a loser by the way?Comment -

#23Valid question. The chargers have rarely had even an average oline during River's tenure with them. The Charger's owners are some of the worst in all of sports.Originally posted by stevenashIs Rivers a loser or the Chargers management the losers here?

Like Jake said, Chargers ownership is bad and held team back by being cheap.Comment -

I guess you took those six years off from watching the NFL?
Only four other QB’s in history have done that more than six seasons.Comment -
