    **which sportsbook(s) are stealing identities?
someone used my picture with a drivers license, (and ss# that they got from using mpsnare) to set up accounts all over the place.

nobody else would have my drivers license number.

careful with taking those pictures that these books need for payouts

I just renewed my DL last week do to the real ID law, Im hoping it has a different number than the one I turned in, my dumb ass forgot to check the numbers. Books stealing IDs is pretty low, good luck with it.

Probably not the book itself but a rogue employee using their security clearance to gather up this stuff and trade to an accomplice.

If it was a real world - justice people could set up stings and get them.

The big three credit reporting bureaus are a crock of crap. What a circus to get your credit history (which they have) locked so tight nobody can get a credit report.

They have invited themself to a party and make all the rules.

Nobody but nobody should be able to get credit history for a credit card without a wet signature.

But, a picture I’d does not even get required to get a credit card but the data on it helped the crooks?

Workers at credit reporting agencies could be crooks as well. Look at the data they have access to.

totally agree... just like rogue waitresses grabbing c.c. info, when i told a restaurant about it they didn't even care, just like i'm guessing these books/etc don't care.

i keep asking all these places for "my" phone number, i'm getting closer, if the scammer is reading this, learn how to spell my name on your fake gmail account!

yes but they don't even take a scan, it's a picture with license emailed to them.

funny how no books ever require that for a DEPOSIT

mostly bank accounts, stuff like goldman sachs bank, charles schwab bank, apple card, marcus (also g.s.) line of credit, cash app, bbva, usbank, azlo... been going on for 9 months, thought they'd give up by now, usually i wait a week or two after an account is open to close it, in the hope they transfer money into it and lose it

                                      Jeez, yeah that sucks.

Always worried me in general - not just with sending ID to sportsbooks. Just all the places where you have to give some form of ID to get something done, information that alone can be enough that one rogue employee has the capability to do this to you. And it can be extremely damaging + go on for a long time as it as in your case.

Hope you get it sorted out, really sucks that that happened. One of those unfortunate realities about the age we now live in - this has just become too common.

well it happened soon after i typed info in to apply for a credit card, so either my computer was hacked and/or i was snared. the only tracking software i saw on my computer after it happened was mpsnare, i'm no expert but that was my guess, who else would have my drivers license info AND ss?

It's so legally tenuous as it is I don't think they would risk their huge profits having holes in it to steal info like that. It takes a few days of back and forth on their forum as they check and clean your machine, but you can be 100% sure once they are done. It's better than any paid service as far as being sure it's done right and completely.
