Pelicans make playoffs??
New Orleans is winning after a 6-22 start with Williamson out and other valuable players in and out of the lineup due to injuries. The Pelicans won six of their last nine games going into the All-Star break, and they’ve got the NBA’s easiest remaining schedule. The Pelicans are 11th in the standings, but have six games left to play against the teams sitting between them and that eighth spot (Portland, Memphis and San Antonio). To date, New Orleans is a combined 5-1 against those squads.

I think they've dug themselves too big a hole. The wins you've banked (or failed to) matter.
Pels are 23-31. The other 2 contenders for the 8 seed are Portland at 25-31 and Memphis at 28-26. You gotta figure either Portland or Memphis can get to 40-42 or 39-43. And if either gets to 41-41 New Orleans is toast.
Need to go 16-12 to get to 39

Ingram gets injured because he's stick man and Zion gets injured because he's fat man.. Team doesn't make the playoffs is my best guess due to injuries and lack of team chemistry..
They are 5 games out in the Western Conference now.. It's not gonna happen..
