Adding 17th game to the NFL schedule?

The league has said that it is necessary in order to make up the revenue from reducing the exhibition schedule from four games to two, and to also create more flexibility in scheduling international games.


The NFL owners seem to be close to add a 17th game to the league schedule, despite the fact that players have expressed great reluctance to playing more football.

I don't think the players are the ones requesting international games. And how does adding an extra week of play make flying around the globe any easier?

Only a jag-off like Goodell could look us in the eye and speak such nonsense.

I'm all for reducing the exhibition schedule from 4 games to 2 though.
