    Kobe Bryant's memorial
Fans seeking to attend the Feb. 24 memorial for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna at Staples Center must register to purchase tickets and there will be no outside overflow areas.Tickets will be priced at $224 each, two for $224 and $24.02 each -- combinations of numbers that like the date, 2/24, represent the No. 24 worn by Bryant and the No. 2 worn by Gianna on her girls basketball team.
Proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, the Lakers said.

Ticket registration was to extend from 11 a.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Monday through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan system. On Tuesday, registered fans will receive emails with nontransferable personal access codes that will allow them to participate in the public sale on Wednesday morning.

Tying a ticket to a funeral or a timing of a moment of silence to an arbitray uniform number is stupid.

            So over this crap

Probably $224 for good seats. 2 for $224 for not-so-good seats. $24.02 for nosebleeders. That's just a guess on my part.

Money goes to his foundation. So don't see the problem.

Well, in that case, charging for a memorial is Kobe's last ripping of ass-holes open which is fine with his brain-dead, knuckle-dragging worshippers.

How much were tickets to the State Funeral?

If they were free tix can u imagine the thousands lining up to get them? And a service that big has to cost a fortune so who
Would foot the bill if they didn't charge? The lakers? I'm sure the bulk of monies go to pay for the service first. Then proceeds go to the foundation.
