Maybe in Venezuela
Bitcoin still long way to go for mass adoption. Learning curve way too high for average Joe
Now only for speculating (and money laundering)

Get a Bitpay card. Transfer from walllet to card and spend anywhere. Take money out at ATM. Get cashback at after transactions at supermarkets.

I just transfer from wallet to CB to PayPal then use it that way. There is only one store in the county I live in that takes btc and it’s a jewelry store. I don’t ever see btc being mainstream, what’s the point unless your gambling or using it on the dark web.
On a side note when I did my taxes online last week it’s now on the standard 1040 form asking if you have any digital currency buys and sells to report. It may have been there for the last few years and I just ignored it, don’t remember

A payment system will be built on layer 2 of bitcoin, and it'll be far cheaper then **** ********** for store owners. It' will become just as easy as using your credit card.

Here's a good article on Bakkt which may really help bitcoin. Kelly Loeffer became rich through the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). She recently stepped down as a CEO of Bakkt to become a US Senator. ICE operates 12 exchanges and her husband is the majority shareholder of ICE. There's a lot of controversy going on with conflict of interest. ICE is a big lobbyist.
It is Loeffler’s career in finance, mostly at the Atlanta-based owner of the New York Stock Exchange, that propelled her to the Senate – and into one of the trickiest ethical dilemmas in recent congressional history.
ICE deploys lobbyists to influence federal regulatory agencies and Congress, including committees on which Loeffler now sits. Loeffler’s husband and other ICE executives often testify at congressional hearings. And, when she was ICE’s senior vice president for corporate communications, Loeffler herself publicly criticized the company’s primary regulator, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, for proposing “excess regulation” during the financial crisis of the late 2000s.

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has appointed Kelly Loeffler, CEO of institutional Bitcoin (BTC) futures platform Bakkt, to a United States Senate seat.
Bakkt’s recent developments
In the meantime, Bitcoin futures open interest on the Bakkt platform hit a new all-time high of $6.5 million on Dec. 3. The reported open interest was a 42% increase from the previous day, which had been an all-time high as well. Also, Bakkt is planning to launch the first regulated options contract for Bitcoin futures on Dec. 9. The new options product is based on customer feedback, explained Loeffler, and is designed to hedge or gain bitcoin exposure. Bakkt added:
