I say that because you mentioned in the thread, the person who has the most moves (outs) is in the best position in the game. Green has 10 outs and purple has 0 at this point. I'm very confident there is more to it than that but that's my stab at it.

Here's another, 1 guess per person. 1st correct wins. Total must equal 90. Only 1 possible outcome. It's Greens turn to move.

Running a player of of legal moves is like tapping someone out in an MMA fight. If you run your opponent out of legal moves you will win almost every single time. The only time you won't is if it's a really close game and it happens at the end. And even then you'll usually win most of the time.

You're not... but I ask of you this... Why would he write "Congrats" if he thought he was winning? The fact that he knows that he was losing even though the score was 42 to 6 in HIS favor means that he's not terrible because he knows the score is merely an illusion until very late in the game. Most terrible players think they are winning when they are actually losing. He knows... when you don't have any place to move... you are going to lose the game regardless of what the score says. Had that game continued... I'm nearly certain I could have held him to under 15. He usually plays better to be honest with you.

The score is completely meaningless until very late in the game most of the time.

Chess is vastly more complicated than Hexversi... I will admit that. But mastering Hexversi is EXTREMELY difficult. I certainly haven't mastered it myself as I still lose games.
