I think it was the classic SBR odds scoreboard.
At the bottom there were links Forum threads. I never clicked those but I'd see regulars like Twizzle and Lakeshow post NBA plays.
I realized it could confirm public sentiment and starting checking in hoping people were posting the opposite of what I was betting, doing that for almost a year before signing up.
Like so many of us, I came for the fades but stayed for the laughs.

12 years ago, did a Google search for technical betting systems and methods. I cant remember the exact search wording though.
A SBR Think Tank thread came up... that lead to seeing the entire forum and all that is SBR...Comment -
I think one day I googled on how to make bets online and found this place. Then I saw winning plays made by Paco and now I'm a lifer here and a degenerate like the rest of the posters.

Remember the days of betislands ? SBR used to pimp them like the hottest penetrating whore in town raising their grade as a sportsbook quarterly it seemed & then they went belly up stole over $1 million from customers, nice work John Walker & friends.

One day I was reading the Wall Street Journal, I got this email from Reuters, while simultaneously watching CNN, and my friend comes in with a New York Post in his left hand a Yahoo! article in his right hand and every single one of them at the exact same moment is how I found SBR.

Lurked at the RX back in the golden days. Got away from sports betting for a long time. Years later remembered SBR which I was aware of at it's beginnings. Started posting for the first time here a couple years ago. This site has come a long way.Comment
