IMPORTANT ? for all Tech Guys here:Why is Flash being discontinued by 2021?
SBR has some highly intelligent Tech posters here.....

So I would like to hear it from you all instead of Google......

    Topic:

The end of life for Adobe's Flash software will be dead and buried by the end of
    this year(2020)

    Questions:

Is it because ADOBE can't protect Copyrighted material playback?

What can you use now to replace Flash?

What is mainstream going to replace Flash with?

What are Streaming service providers going to use instead of Flash
    is my biggest question?

    HTML5?

Do most video content providers like YouTube, Netflix,ETC. already use
    HTML5 without the user's knowledge??

Adobe Flash is not the most secure product to begin with. While Adobe has made strides in keeping up with patching zero-day exploits, they have traditionally been slow to respond to critical vulnerabilities.
It is also very difficult to maintain an effective patching program for Adobe Flash. Most internal IT departments and external managed service providers have software that will manage the patch infrastructure for Windows, but often they require a special solution to patch any of the Adobe products.
With end of life for Flash, there will be no more secure updates. This means any new security exploits will not be given updates creating a gap in any company’s network security.

Google Chrome discontinued the use of Adobe Flash in update 53 of their browser. While the software can still be enabled through Chrome settings, Google has confirmed that effective the date of end of life for Flash.

Mozilla discontinued support by default for Adobe Flash in the middle of 2016, citing the excessive security vulnerabilities that Flash was continuing to patch for. At the end of 2020, Mozilla will also block Flash.
And finally, Internet Explorer will also discontinue and block Adobe Flash at the end of life date. With all three of the major browsers ending support and blocking Flash from running at all, there will be no viable way to deliver online course content.

        Sucks Pauly, I like chrome.

Might not be able to use it at all soon.

        Fukkin sucks.

Sorry I have nothing technical to share, I'm on the ass end of it too, like all of us.

I think I got it now..........

So....As long as you're not prompted to allow Flash player to run
in order to stream any video content you can trust the source?

I have permitted Flash to run once in awhile when prompted
and had no issues(at least to my knowledge) that Norton 360 couldn't handle....

I think it is an old technology platform that can't be build on anymore sufficiently.
Also, it has become an easy target for hackers.
