Seems like they are trying to rig it for Morant to win.
This is dangerous though will be tempted to bet most of bankroll against Howard how can he possibly win?

Does he even have the hops these day to dunk off one leg? Ten years to late for Dwight.
He's obviously trying to up his stock and it's a PR stunt if he's in.. He was SUPERMAN at one time though..

This is free money I understand most too broke to lay big odds but he cannot win.

Don't under-estimate the sentimentality of the NBA. If they can give Anthony player of the week, and put Howard in a dunking contest then they can certainly let him win it.

Aren't the limits small on these? I would agree he has almost no chance though. Will be interesting to see what his odds are. I remember Plumlee was about +1000

Nobody likes Dwight Howard, if Vince was in it he might get sentimental votes.

No one still to this day could jump and get up like the young Dwight Howard could back in the day.
Today he is half the man he was when it comes to hops and spectacular dunks. Vince Carter was special too..

It would be great to see superstars in these contests. The NBA should up the prize money going to winners charity. Maybe 10 million. The NBA would make it back plus more in sponsorships

Yup.. Not enough reward vs possible embarrassment to enter these days. Should offer a few million dollars to the winner in every dunk contest now I agree.. Everyone tuning in and watching want to just see the slam dunk contest mostly anyways..
I gotta say though - When you think about it you are out there all by yourself trying to land an incredible dunk.. Most star players today like Lebron just simply don't want to try that!!!
